HOG CASINS
If ya get yer casins salted, the first thing ya wanna do is rinse them well in runnin water. Now, open the casin up an run some cool water from the tap through them to rinse out any salt er such. Next, let em soak fer bout 30 minutes in warm water.
Leave em in a bowl of water till ya use em. Wet down the tube a yer stuffer an slip the open end a the casin over the stuffing tube, slide it back over the tube till the casin is all on the tube.
Tie the end a the tube closed an begin to stuff. Don’t over stuff the casins as they can split or might split when ya link em.

MAKIN LINKS
After ya stuff the casins, you can link them rather easily.
Lay the stuffed casin out strait an bring the ends together in a large loop. Know measure out how big ya wan’t yer links an usin yer index finger an thumb, squeeze the casin together. Know twist the upper loop around two er three times. Take one tail an run it through the loop an twist it over the new tie point two times. Repeat makin the links until yer to the end a the casin.

I tie my casins usin simple butchers twine an a square knot. Works easier then tryin to tie them wet casins!
